Tributes paid to ‘great source of joy’ man

Following a road traffic collision involving one vehicle that took place on Blaenavon Road, Brynmawr at approximately 3.05am on Saturday 14th July 2018, Gwent Police have confirmed that Bradley Lukins, 21, from Blaina died as a result of his injuries.
Bradley’s family have issued the following statement:
We would like to thank all the hospital staff at Nevill Hall Hospital for everything they did for Brad. We would also like to thank everyone for their kind condolences and everyone who has sent cards and flowers.
Bradley was an amazing boy and a great source of joy to everyone who knew him. The family are obviously devastated and would now like time to grieve.
Following the incident, two men, aged 21 from Blaina, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. One man has since been released under investigation, while the other man has been released with no further action.
Officers continue to appeal to anyone who may have seen the vehicle in the area in the lead up to the collision, or anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Gwent Police on 101, quoting log 111 of 14/07/18.
