LIVE: Updates from Welsh Government COVID-19 lockdown update

We’re expecting to hear from First Minister Mark Drakeford at 12:15pm today to find out more about the latest coronavirus regulations review. Here’s what we know so far:

Welsh Government have updated the status to “Stay Local” where as it has previously been “Stay Home”.

From Saturday 13th March, four people from two households will be able to meet outdoors and outdoor sports facilities such as golf will be able to reopen. Indoor visits to care homes can also restart.

From Monday 15th March, all primary school pupils will return and schools can also bring back students in years 10 and 12. Hairdressers and barbers will also be allowed to reopen for appointments only.

From Monday 22nd March, supermarkets will be able to begin reopening non-essential item aisles and garden centres will also be allowed to reopen.

From Monday 12th April, all shops and close contact services will be allowed to reopen.
