Further John Lewis store closures could be announced

John Lewis announced the closure of eight stores back in 2020 due to issues caused by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The company has said it “does not expect” all of its department stores to reopen once lockdown restrictions ease.
The news comes following reports that the company has previously considered closing up to a further eight stores in addition to the eight stores that were marked for closure in 2020.
