‘Kindness parcel’ provision launched by Cwmbran school

Written by on 7th March 2021

A primary school in Cwmbran has launched a kindness parcel provision for local families and the wider community.

A Llantarnam Community Primary School letterhead document addressed to parents was recently posted on social media on behalf of the Kindness in the community Committee to promote the provision.

Donations of groceries and other household items are being collected with the aim of supporting families connected to the community primary school as well as the wider local community.

Kindness parcels will be delivered by Miss Emily Boshein and Cllr David Thomas following requests.

The provision was set up in partnership with local Councillors, Governors and parent volunteers.

If you would like to register to receive a kindness parcel, contact Llantarnam Community Primary School by:

  • Telephoning the school on 01633 480039
  • Dojo a staff member
  • Email the school on [email protected]

Gavin Andrew, Station Manager of Vitalize Radio, spoke to parent volunteer Laura Gregson recently to find out everything about the Kindness in the Community provision. You can listen back to the chat here:
