COVID-19: Rollout of mobile testing units across Torfaen

Due to a significant increase in local positive COVID-19 cases, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board are opening a number of mobile testing units across Torfaen.
The first two locations across Torfaen are:
- Union St Car Park, Abersychan (NP4 8DH)
- Car park behind Trevethin shops (NP4 7EW)
The mobile units will provide a walk up testing service for residents who live nearby from 9:30am until 3:30pm on Monday 30th November and Tuesday 1st December.
Further locations across Torfaen will be announced early this week alongside times and dates.
If you are feeling generally unwell or have symptoms of Coronavirus (Covid-19) – a new continuous cough, high temperature or loss of taste and/ or smell, then call 0300 30 31 222 or visit www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test to book a test. Remember, these symptoms can be very mild.
Torfaen residents who have access to a car can also be tested at the drive-through testing centre at Rodney Parade in Newport. To book a drive-through test, call 0300 30 31 222 or visit www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test.
Testing kits can also be requested to be posted to your home address. You can apply for these by visiting www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or by calling 119.
