Free taxis for elderly and vulnerable to access Covid-19 vaccine appointments

Dragon Taxis Newport & Torfaen has revealed they will provide free transport for elderly and vulnerable to get COVID-19 vaccinations.
The company has rolled out a free taxi service for elderly and vulnerable patients to attend appointments at COVID-19 vaccination clinics.
The service is for vaccination clinics only and does not apply for Coronavirus testing centres as the guidance from Welsh Government is to avoid using public transport on the way to and from testing centres.
In a post on Facebook, Jack Price, Regional Director of Dragon Taxis, said:
The team and I at Dragon Taxis & V Cars have been busy launching our latest community support campaign so that we can continue helping locals where we can during Covid.
We have teamed up with a number of local GP’s and vaccination centre’s and are now providing FREE TAXIS across Newport, Cwmbran, Cardiff, Bridgend, Bristol, Bath, Swindon & Chippenham for the elderly back and forth their Vaccine appointment’s.
