Temporary closure for Health Centre in Cwmbran

A Cwmbran Health Centre has announced that one of their surgeries will close on a temporary basis.

In a post on their official Facebook page, Nant Dowlais Health Centre has announced that their Greenmeadow surgery will close temporarily from Friday 4th December.

The closure is said to be due to a reduction in staffing levels and will remain in place until further notice.

The surgery staff asks for people to only attend the surgery if they have a pre-arranged face-to-face appointment and says that if you have an appointment at Greenmeadow that they need to move, they will contact you with further information.

Members of the clinical team will continue to be based there conducting telephone and video consultations with an agreed time a lot for any face to face appointments deemed necessary.

Greenmeadow Surgery plans to continue with the midwife clinic on Tuesday afternoons and the child immunisation clinics on Thursdays as well as the flu vaccination clinic on 10th December. However, all patients affected will be contacted should these details change.
