Temporary Torfaen Covid-19 test centres to close

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board have announced that the temporary Covid-19 ‘walk-up’ test centres in Blaenavon and Pontypool will close on Friday 30 October.
If you have symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19), you are still able to book an appointment at the centres by calling 0300 30 31 222 between 8am – 8pm.
Blaenavon Temporary Testing Facility
Blaenavon Iron Works – Car Park NP4 9RN
9am-12.30pm daily
Open until Friday 30/10/2020
Pontypool Temporary Testing Facility
Old Mill Car Park, Trosnant Street, Pontypool, NP4 8AT
2pm – 4.30pm daily
Open until Friday 30/10/2020
The test is done in 5 minutes and is only for residents of Torfaen at these testing facilities.
Please remember to:
- Bring ID and proof of address
- Wear a face covering on the way to and from your test
- Not use public transport
- Not visit any shops or other places on the way to or from your test
