Torfaen Councillors reveal refurbishment plans for play area

Alan Slade and David Thomas, Councillors for the Llantarnam Ward, have revealed refurbishment plans for an outdoor play area.
New equipment will be added to the play park in Oakfield Flower Gardens in Llantarnam, Cwmbran.
Refurbishment is set to take place over the coming months with plans to be ready for use before the Summer holidays.
Councillor David Thomas said:
“The new & improved play area in Oakfield Flower Gardens will be refurbished this year.
“Hopefully work will start around Easter time and be finished in June.“
The current play park is located at Oakfield Flower Gardens and can be accessed off Llantarnam Road and Oakfield Road.
