Torfaen’s Local Radio To Host Community Stage At Torfaen Pride 2025

It has been confirmed that Vitalize Radio, Torfaen’s Local Station, will organise and host the new Community Stage at the county’s annual Pride event this Summer.

After a stellar inaugural event in 2024, Pride is set to take place in Pontypool Park on the 7th June for yet another fantastic celebration of diversity in the LGBTQ+ community. Last year saw a wide range of entertainment, stalls, a fairground and even a land train, but 2025 looks to be even bigger and better!

The community stage, which will be running from 12.30PM – 6.00PM will see acts drawn in from around South Wales, including various community groups, acts and talented soloists.

Station Manager, Gavin Andrew said: “We’re delighted to be supporting Torfaen Pride for another year. Connecting with the community is at the heart of what we do at Vitalize and being a part of inclusive, family-friendly events such as Pride makes our mission even more meaningful.”

As Torfaen’s Local Radio, Vitalize is proud to be a part of an event which not only celebrates diversity within the community but allows the people of Torfaen and beyond to come together and connect as one big family.
