Cat & Lynx

Written by on 14th November 2019

Name: Cat and Lynx Raven
Star sign: Aquarius
Job – Horror writers and polefit instructors

What is your favourite…

Genre of music – Rock, punk rock and metal
Food – chip shop chips and ice cream
Film – ooh that’s a tough one. Nightmare Before Christmas; Tucker and Dale vs Evil; Sleepy Hollow

Why did you join Vitalize?

We went on Jack and Laura’s show as guests to talk about ghost hunting, and they suggested we could have a show. It seemed like a really cool thing to do, so we asked Dan if we could have a horror show. Luckily, he said yes. He probably regrets that now.

What’s the best thing about being part of Vitalize?

It’s fun, and we’re given freedom to make our show our own. We get to talk about our favourite subject and play our favourite music. If anyone tunes in, that’s a bonus.

Name your top 3 songs of all time?

Only three? Meatloaf’s Bat out of Hell; Alice Cooper’s Poison; Rise Against Prayer of the Refugee

Favourite show on Vitalize (not your own) and why?

Steve’s Rock and Metal show. It’s the music. We often steal music from Steve’s music folder.

What’s your most embarrassing moment?

There have been several! Telling Mark Sheppard we planned to kidnap the cast of Supernatural and asking how fast he could run was particularly memorable. He looked terrified! In our defence, our best mate Andrew was there, and he didn’t stop us. Someone needs to stop us.

What makes Vitalize Radio different from any other?

All the shows are so different, and each presenter has their own taste in music, so you don’t hear the same popular songs over and over. Most radio stations have interchangeable presenters, and the music doesn’t change. You don’t get that with Vitalize.

If you had to partner with another presenter, who would it be and why?

Ooh, Carty. He’s hilarious, so we’d have a laugh. We probably wouldn’t get any work done though.
